Aaron's Graduation

When Aaron and I got married a little over 5 years ago, I don't think that either of us thought this day would ever come, but it has. Aaron is now a college graduate! I am so proud of him. He has worked so hard. He worked full time, went to school full time along with having a wife and child and still graduated with a 3.87 GPA. I am very grateful for Aaron and all that he does for our family. Now it's job search time so if anyone knows of anything, please let us know!

Jenna's Blessing

Jenna was able to have her baby blessing a couple Sundays ago, on Mother's Day. It was really special. It was a beautiful blessing and my parents were able to come out for it as well. I am really glad that they were able to come and be a part of it. My grandmother made Jenna's dress. It was so incredible. I can't believe that she made it, it turned out so good. I know that it took her a while to make and that it was hard but I am so grateful. Thank you g-ma !!!

Bryan's Train Ride and Mowing the Lawn

My mom and I took Bryan to the mall to walk while we were still waiting for Jenna to come and they had this train there that went up and down the mall. Of course, Bryan wanted to ride on it and I don't think he new quite what to expect!


Right now Bryan is all about helping. He wants to help us do everything and he wants to try everything. So one night Aaron was mowing the lawn and Bryan wanted to help.

Jenna's First Dr. Appt.

These are pictures of Jenna after her first trip to the pediatrician and quite a trip it was. We got there just a little late and then as we were waiting, the fire alarm went off which was very very loud, but surprisingly Jenna didn't seem to notice. So we were rushed out the back where we had to wait just a min....turns outs it was just a child that pulled the fire alarm. So we went back in and she saw the dr. who said that everything was great. She was 8.15 lbs (she was 8.13 lbs when we left he hospital), her ht. is now 21 in. and her head is 14.8 in.

Jenna is doing really well! Bryan loves her and doesn't want to leave her alone (I'm sure that will change). Sorry that I wasn't able to post more updates the day of the event. Once I got the epidural, I was feeling so good that I slept a lot since I didn't get much sleep the night before!!

Finally, the time is here....

Well, she never came on her own. So, we had to wait all day yesterday for the hospital to call us and tell us that there was a bed available and to come on in. Well, this morning at 12:30 in the morning, they called. So we grabbed our bag and came on in. They started the petocin (sp?) this morning at about 9:00 and so now we wait. This picture was taken at 11:00 a.m. and we will try to keep updates coming today!

Update

Well, due date was yesterday and still no baby! We have been doing every old wives tale that there is (especially walking, we walked 3 miles yesterday), she is just deciding to be stubborn. I went to the Dr. on Wednesday and I am dilated about a finger tip he said. So, if she still hasn't come by Tuesday afternoon, they will induce on Tuesday night. I am hoping not to make it till then, but I guess we will see!!! On a good note, my mom has been here over a week now and we have gotten a lot done. We totally finished the baby's room (pictures to come) and a lot of other things. It has been a lot of fun having her here!
